The underpinning idea driving the approach to developing collections is that a processual approach provides a unique perspective on how creative and cultural methods contribute to generating data publics. With this in mind, we created the first collection to answer the following questions: What are the expressed motives for initiating each case? Are there any themes that emerge when comparing these cases’ expressed motives? Our exploration of the cases and they data journeys led us to identify four themes presented in the collection presented below.
We invite anyone interested in better understanding the intersections between creative methods and data publics to explore the cases presented here and to share with us any other questions they’d like us to answer through a new collection.
