Homebaked Community Land Trust
This project demonstrates how a participatory planning approach can drive community-led regeneration. Since 2012, local residents have collaborated with architects and experts to co-design Oakfield Terrace, transforming it into an energy-efficient, mixed-use high street scheme in community ownership. Through design workshops and consultations, a Core Design Group and wider stakeholders shaped priorities, budgets, and key decisions. Creative pieces such as visualizations, graphs, and charts captured workshop data and informed design iterations. The resulting Design and Access Statement positions Oakfield Terrace as a model for sustainable, community-owned development and a catalyst for wider neighborhood revitalization.
