Ageing in Place Micro-Residency Project
This project used art-making and workshops to engage local residents over 50 in exploring ageing and community life. Seven artists worked across eight boroughs, co-creating with participants through poetry, origami, paintings, drawings, and clay sculptures. These creative pieces reflected lived experiences and contributed to the Ageing in Place Pathfinder report, which captured insights on ageing well and tackling health inequalities. Positioned within Greater Manchester’s creative health agenda, the project highlights how participatory arts can support inclusive policymaking and strengthen community voices.
